Poker game night ideas

Beginner night: low blinds, everyone learns from the same table.
Sit & Go final: a short tournament with a winner at the end.
Mixed games: Texas Hold'em for the first hour, then Omaha.
Themed night: costumes and snacks over a video call.
Heads up knockout: pairs play heads up and winners advance.
Office or college league: track the winner each week.

Social poker features that help friends play together

Look for a poker social game with: private tables, invites, friend lists, quick chat and emoji reactions, player avatars and profiles, a lobby, an action timer and fair seat selection. POKR BUDDY includes all of these. See all POKR BUDDY features.

Play cards with friends online

If your group likes card games more broadly, poker is one of the easiest to learn: five-card hands, a few betting rounds and no complicated scoring. It scales from two players (heads up) to nine at one table.

Poker community and forum

A great way to improve is to talk about hands with others. Share interesting hands with friends, review mistakes together, and join poker communities and forums where players discuss strategy. Be kind and keep it about learning, not insulting.
