How the poker random number generator works

Every deck in POKR BUDDY is shuffled with a cryptographically secure random number generator (the Web Crypto API on the server) using the Fisher-Yates algorithm. Cards are dealt from that shuffled deck. Nobody, including the operator, can see or change upcoming cards, and the shuffle cannot be predicted from earlier hands.

RNG certification

Independent RNG certificates, where available, are displayed on our RNG Certification page. A certificate is a test by a lab that the shuffle output is statistically random.
